It's fitting that, after winning 'Best gloves' for the tenth consecutive year in the Motorrad Magazine awards (The World's biggest selling bike mag) that arguably the best road racer on the planet, Michael Dunlop, has chosen to wear Held motorcycle gloves this season. There's a new titanium knuckle, new and improved from the old Titan, new wrist slider with titanium insert, carbon and gel protectors on sides of hand! There is also DuPont Kevlar at the necessary zones including the finger bridge which is designed to stop your fingers separating and breaking in the event of a slide. TRAYLER SET FOR SUPERSTOCK RETURN WITH MSS COLCHESTER KAWASAKI

Essex-based racer Jesse Trayler will make his return to the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship this season after teaming up with the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team as he prepares for one of the biggest seasons of his career.

Trayler from Dunmow in Essex, has been establishing himself in the class in previous seasons, but teaming up with the Colchester-based squad gives him the best opportunity to move to the next level as he prepares for the season to get underway at Donington Park at Easter.

Trayler said: “I am absolutely ecstatic to be reunited with the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team for the 2015 season in which we will be making a full assault on the Superstock 1000 title. It's great to have Colchester Kawasaki on our side as I feel I can give them the coverage and exposure that is expected from me as a rider on, and off the track professionally.

“It's such a fantastic opportunity for me riding for such a professional squad, for that I have had some of my best results for in the past riding with them last in 2009. I am confident we can be a force to be reckoned with this year and I feel fitter, more experienced and ready than ever for this season. And especially having MSS performances very own in house Built ZX10R which I know are built to the highest meticulous quality."

Team Owner Nick Morgan said: “Everyone knows that racing is addictive and as a team we were forced to stop prematurely in 2012 with the economical climate. However this has enabled us to have a bit of a restructure and now the business is back in a position to go racing as a team and do it properly. We have worked with Jesse before so it is great to have him back onboard and we will see what we can do to add to the other results we have had in the past as team.”

Probably the best waterproofing in the world: The Outdry laminate membrane uses ground breaking technology to ensure that your boots are 100% waterproof. The Outdry membrane is laminated to the outer leather of the motorcycle boots. Usually in other waterproofing techniques there would be a separate membrane, it means that the rain would have to travel through the outer to the waterproof membrane and it would sit in between those two layers. That in turn means that your feet cannot breathe and they'd get cold! Outdry is laminated to the outer to ensure your feet can breathe and will be 100% dry and warm!

Held UK helps out 'The Bike Experience'

We're really proud to be associated with and suppliers to 'The Bike Experience', a charity set up by ex-HM Forces & Paralympian Talan Skeels-Piggins.

The Bike Experience is all about helping to get disabled Ex-service personnel and civilians get back on two wheels.

Get back on a bike

The Bike Experience has helped many riders get back on a bike in a safe, controlled environment. We can help you do the same too.

Rider being launchedThe Experience is free of charge to you as a rider, but if you wish to make a donation to the charity at the end of the course, we would be extremely grateful.

You need to have ridden a motorcycle before your accident/disability.

We are looking to evolve the Experience so that we can teach complete novices in the future, as well as creating a motocross Experience to allow for riders of all types to enjoy their passion.

There are ‘bolt-on stabilisers’, which we can put on the learner bike, so there is no possible way you could fall over.  The stabilisers allow the candidate to get used to the hand operations required for a bike in total safety.  They are easily removed once you are confident and wish to begin with steering inputs on the bike.

A liability waiver must be signed at the start of the day.

Volunteers

The Experience is supported by a large number of volunteers who are there to act as your launch crew.  We are always looking for more, so please contact one of the staff if you are interested.

If, as a rider you want to have your own mates help as part of the launch crew, they should be able-bodied and strong enough to help with getting you on the bike, as well as holding the bike with you on it.


This is not a ‘males-only’ event and we have anyone as a volunteer.  Women have caught and launched riders alongside the men, so partners are always welcomed.
