| Another top 10 for Jesse Trayler |
Trayler and the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team had a positive test at the circuit a week earlier and arrived at the third round ready to maintain their consistent performances and move a step closer to their rivals on track.
Trayler was building his pace throughout the weekend, despite conditions changing during the event to qualify ninth on the grid for the 11 lap race and he was able to hold on to the position to score valuable points as he bids to close the deficit at the next round at Donington Park later this month.
Trayler said: “Oulton Park was another consistent points score for myself and the Colchester Kawasaki team. We came away from the test there a week earlier feeling happy with the progress we had made, but knew there was still more to find.
“I'm pretty happy we managed a top ten finish in the race there as it is a tough circuit for me, but after the test and a weekends racing I know now where I need to improve for next time. All in all we came away with a lot of positives and still hold sixth in the standings, but we need to really push for some better positions and points from now onwards.

The third round of the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship takes place at Donington Park on 23-25 May during the World Superbike Championship event.
